COURSE MAP:

A course map of the marathon will be allocated to all runners upon collecting their race numbers and packs and completion of compulsory gear checks at The Rydges Hotel, Queenstown on Friday 20th February 2015.

The map illustrating the course and checkpoints will not be publicised prior to the event as the entire race takes place on the private Ben Lomond High Country Station which is actively farmed. The Station owners do not wish for any farm animals to be disturbed by people venturing on to the course should information be disclosed beforehand.

CUT OFF TIMES:

Cut off times are for your own safety. Please respect the decisions made by race officials upon arrival at the Ben Lomond Lodge approx 24km in to the marathon course. Decisions made are for your own safety.

The cut off time at the Ben Lomond Lodge will be 6 ½ Hours (2:30pm).

If you arrive at the Ben Lomond Lodge after this time you will be directed along a shorter course to the finish. The shorter course will reduce the total distance by 5km therefore you will still run approx 37km. The 5km reduction in the course by-passes one of the most difficult, challenging and time consuming sections of the marathon course.
