Aoraki Mount Cook Marathon – Postponed to 2026

Sadly to ever increasing compliance and safety requirements as well as skyrocketing operational costs there won’t be an event in 2025.

The event heavily relies on entry fees to support operational costs and sadly due to the decline in race entries post Covid-19 and current economic climate, sponsorship opportunities are very few an far between and participant numbers are half of what they once were pre Covid-19.

We appreciate this isn’t the news you want to hear and we are absolutely devastated not to be hosting the event which would have been the 11th Anniversary. Fingers crossed for next year.
